At the 2026 China International Forum on Exhibition Economy Cooperation, the "China Exhibition Economy Development Report 2025" (hereinafter referred to as "the Report") was released. The report reveals that in 2025, Wuhan's exhibition industry achieved a high-quality development momentum characterized by dual upgrades in scale and capacity, accelerated business model innovation, and expanded international influence. From January to October 2025, Wuhan hosted 278 exhibition events, representing a year-on-year increase of 38.3%.

It highlights that Wuhan, as a national central city under construction and a core city in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, is targeting the development of an international convention and exhibition hub. The city leverages the exhibition economy as a critical engine to drive open economic development, promote consumption upgrading, and empower industrial transformation.

The Report notes that in 2025, Wuhan achieved 26 internationally recognized memberships and projects, successfully attracting nine international exhibitions, including the World Digital Education Conference, the 32nd International Sanitary Paper Technology Exhibition, China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition 2025, and the International Wine Expo, significantly enhancing its global influence.

  2. The 25th Wuhan International Auto Show 2025, featuring cross-sector integration under the theme "Auto+", introduced the exclusive IP "Han Xiao Che," organized city landmark tours, hosted special art and cultural exhibitions, and distributed over RMB 10 million in consumption vouchers. These innovations deeply connected culture, tourism, and public welfare, achieving on-site transactions of nearly RMB 3 billion and cumulative consumption拉动超130亿元 over the past three editions.

  3. The 2025 China International Commercial Vehicle Exhibition (CCVS) adopted a "three-dimensional linkage" approach combining exhibitions, conferences, and competitions. It established dynamic demonstration zones and cold-chain specialty exhibition areas, organized industry-education integration activities, effectively promoting collaborative innovation and international cooperation across the commercial vehicle industry chain in the fields of new energy and intelligent technologies.
