The 2026 "Our Chinese Dream – Culture to Every Home" campaign officially launches.

The launch ceremony and condolence performance of the 2026 "Our Chinese Dream - Culture Enters Thousands of Homes" activity, jointly organized by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the National Radio and Television Administration, China Media Group, and the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, was held on February 1 in Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hubei Province.

Accompanied by loud mountain songs, the large-scale ethnic dance and song performance "Romantic Xuan'en Welcomes You," featuring rich ethnic characteristics, kicked off the show. A series of signature programs, including folk song medleys, acrobatic performances, and opera medleys, took the stage in succession... The performance vividly showcased the warmth and simplicity of the Tujia people, not only creating a warm atmosphere of joy, harmony, and ethnic unity, but also resonating with the strong voice of people's life transformations in the new era and the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas. On the same day, cultural and artistic teams from the China Coal Mine Art Troupe and the China Broadcasting Art Troupe also visited Enshi City and Jianshi County to deliver consolatory performances.

2026 marks the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the first year of the 15th Five-Year Plan. This year's "Culture to Every Home" campaign promotes the direct delivery of high-quality cultural resources to grassroots communities, mobilizing and organizing a large number of cultural and artistic workers to conduct grassroots-oriented cultural performances, artistic training, and cultural services. It strengthens the capacity to provide high-quality and diversified cultural services, encourages and advocates community-led cultural activities, and launches enjoyable and accessible cultural and artistic initiatives. These efforts enable the people to share in the fruits of cultural heritage and development while gathering a powerful spiritual force for unity, progress, and vigorous development in the new era.

This year's campaign will mobilize and organize professional cultural and artistic teams to go deep into rural villages, communities, schools, military camps, industrial and mining enterprises, and other venues to perform shows, screen films, distribute books, newspapers, and periodicals, and conduct training sessions, lectures, and tutoring. This effort aims to deliver high-quality cultural products and services to grassroots frontlines, with a particular focus on rural elderly individuals, left-behind children, and urban emerging employment groups, among others.
